The Tumble Inn chapters follows the arc of one year at Tumble Inn starting in the Christmas of 1935.All blocks are designed, carved, and printed by William R. Tyler.
Note from the artist:
"My Mother, wrote a childrens book from telling stories to my nephew and nieces. Over time she played a game of making 'Tumble Inn' biscuits, which made their inquisitive minds ask about 'Tumble Inn'. They made up stories to get them away from the TV and to come to the table.
How this grandmother and her grandchildren exchanged ideas is ultimately how Tumble Inn came to be. She recalled stories from her childhood and weaved it all together into Tales from Tumble Inn.
Each illustration is a 9"x12" hand carved linoleum cut and printed on arches archival paper. Current plans include creating 12 inaugural editions of each set signed and numbered.
